K-Lite (Mega) Codec Pack is a collection of audio and video components for Microsoft Windows that enables the operating system and its software to play back various audio and video formats generally not supported by the operating system itself. K-Lite Codec Pack also includes several related tools, including Media Player Classic, GSpot Codec Information Appliance and Codec Tweak Tool.^[2]

A lot of audio and video playback problems I have had in the past, I normally resolve by installing the latest

K-lite Codec Pack.
I have been a fan of this codec pack for a few years, mainly because it works, its free, and they are continually updating their codecs. Support for HD as well.

 

I found a little Anti-virus by the way of Panda Cloud Antivirus, which I am currently trialling.

Its free, and the User Interface is appealing and Basic. Its does not seem to be Bogging down My system, and the updates dont take forever, and slow the connection to a crawl! So far, I like it, but will get back to you about that.
I'm not sure about the option to let the software manufacturer take management of the settings though. Easy to setup, and easy on resources. Try it and leave an opinion.

 Have you ever had the problem of trying to delete move or rename a file or folder, only to find out windows wont let you?

You don't have to have that problem anymore! I found this free program called Unlocker.

It also helps with the following errors;
Cannot delete file: Access is denied
There has been a sharing violation.
The source or destination file may be in use.
The file is in use by another program or user.
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.
